To be honest, I thought the 24-70mm f/2.8L II would be easy to declare the winner and optically, it is the best of this list. However, the two f/4 lenses perform better in front of 50.6 megapixels than I expected. The f/2.8L II is slightly sharper over then 1. The two shots with the baby and the little girl were shot with FF bodies. The 24-105 may work on portraits ( due to being up close) but there have been mixed reviews about using EF lenses on crop bodies. As someone said the 85mm range would be best for portraits on a crop. Kent. F4 doesn't work great for astro, so you need a second lens for that, big deal for me if I can only fit 3 lenses absolute maximum and im walking like 20km up a mountain. The 15 2.8 is great, works for astro, lower light scenarios, works with filters, much less distortion. No complaints with the 15-35. 4. DjPersh. Sell the EF-M lens 18-55mm / 55-200mm and buy the EF-M 18-150mm IS STM, or may be wait until Canon releases new EF-M lense (which can be later this year or next year), nobody really knows.
